Structure

General Assembly

The General Assembly is the supreme body of UTA, setting policy and direction for the association. Its powers and functions are to:

  1. a. Act as the supreme body of the Association.
  2. b. Lay down policies, indicate priorities and elect the Governing Council.
  3. c. Give judgments on matters related to the interpretation of the provisions of the Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations.
  4. d. Approve the annual report and audited statement of accounts.
  5. e. Approve the annual plan of activities proposed by the Governing Council.
  6. f. Exercise the power to amend, as necessary, the provisions of the Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations as per the prescribed procedure.
